John Burke does his writing in Nashville, TN, fit in somewhere between producing country music videos and rescuing stray cats and adorable pit bulls.
Keith Burkholder has been sending manuscripts to many publications. He has been published in three publications, Creative Juices, Sol-Magazine, and Trellis Magazine. He submitted poetry and short stories as well. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics with a minor in Mathematics from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
Janet Butler teaches ESL in San Francisco, and Italian, privately. Some recent publications are The Chaffey Review, the 13th Warrior, Pirene's Fountain, Locust, Red Fez, Karamu, and Halfway down the stairs. Future publications include Clarion, Clapboard House and Toyon Literary Review. A chapbook, "Under Italian Skies" was published by Flutter Press in April of this year; "To see you no more" by Punkin House Press in September. A poem, "Shadows", has been awarded 3rd prize in the Berkeley Bay Area Poets' Coalition's 31 annual contest for 2011.
Carmen Castaño Mendez was born in Spain. Currently lives in New Zealand, her photographic work has been short listed for the New Zealand National Photography Award.
Matthew D'Abate is Creative Director of Le Chat Noir Productions, a film, music,and literary arts collective based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. His fiction, poetry, articles, and essays have appeared in Cherry Bleeds, Lit-Chaos, Words-Myth, Thieves Jargon, Dogmatika, and Word Riot.
Robert Demaree is a retired school administrator with ties to North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. The author of four collections of poems, including Fathers and Teachers (2007) and Mileposts (2009), both published by Beech River Books, he has had over 450 poems published or accepted by 100 periodicals, including Aethlon, Cold Mountain Review, Foliate Oak, Louisville Review, Mobius, Paris/Atlantic and Schuylkill Valley Journal.
Chris Dietzel
graduated with a degree in English from McDaniel College. His short
stories have been published in Temenos Literary Journal and
Down in the Dirt Magazine. He is currently working on his
second novel.
Aaron Deutsch is a recent graduate of the Texas State University-San Marcos MFA program, where he was awarded his degree with distinction. He currently teaches Freshmen Composition at Texas State University, and writes whenever he can. His work has appeared in The Smoking Poet, and is forthcoming in The Nine Online and Willows Wept Review. He has served as a poetry editor for Crab Orchard Review, Front Porch, and Grassroots. He has no pets.
Richard Dinges Jr. MA in literary studies from University of Iowa and he manages business systems at an insurance company. Tulane Review, Cortland Review, Barnwood, Roanoke Review, and Gihon River Review have most recently accepted his poems for their publications.
Ben Dudley is pursuing an M. A. in Fiction Writing at the University of Cincinnati. He is a new writer.
Lou Gaglia lives and teaches in upstate New York. His work has appeared or will appear shortly in JMWW, Stirring, Rose & Thorn Journal, Stymie, Bartleby Snopes, Hobo Pancakes, and Pig in a Poke.
Mike Gray is currently working on his MFA at Florida Atlantic University. He is the recipient of FAU’s Lawrence Sanders Fellowship and his fiction has appeared in The Rockford Review, The Storyteller, and Conceit Magazine.
Ira Joel Haber was born and lives in Brooklyn New York. He is a sculptor, painter, book dealer and teacher. His work has been seen in numerous group shows both in USA and Europe and he has had 9 one man shows including several retrospectives of his sculpture. His work is in the collections of The Whitney Museum Of American Art, New York University, The Guggenheim Museum, The Hirshhorn Museum & The Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Rebecca Helton recently completed her M.A. at the University of Tennessee, and holds a B.A. from Kenyon College. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

Michael Monroe has had
poems published most recently in the Lyric, Manorborn, and the
Loch Raven Review. He's also had two poems appear in a
previous issue of Foliate Oak. Other poems he's written are
due to be published in upcoming issues of Gargoyle Magazine,
Struggle, and the Blue Collar Review. He's had two poems
recorded on the Words on War CD produced by Birdhouse Studios
and he's been a member of the Zelda’s Inferno writing group and
workshop since 2000. He often does poetry readings with Gimme Shelter
Productions to raise money and awareness for the homeless in
Baltimore.
M. Elaine Moore is a North Carolina fiction writer and poet, with several poems published in the Island Breeze, an Outer Banks publication. She has completed one novel and is at work on another.
Roger Pemberton is a poet and aspiring journalist. He is an English/Literature major at Southern New Hampshire University. Roger has previously been published in Word Riot and Main Channel Voices. He currently resides in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Stephen Rosenshein is
a native of Seattle and is currently pursuing his MFA in Creative
Writing at SFSU. He serves as Poetry Editor for Fourteen Hills
Magazine and is staff member at Small Desk Press. Winner
of the Mark Linenthal Award for Poetry, his work has appeared in
Transfer, Wooden Teeth, Mortar & Pestle and more. He is
currently working on a book-length translation of Chilean poet
Yanko Gonzalez Cangas.

Kathleen Sheridan was raised in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens. She has been published in Stillpoint Literary Magazine. She is currently working in the Philippines, living the island lifestyle while chasing the muses.
Jennifer Stern is a neurologist living in Iowa City. Recent publications include "A Simple Encounter," which appeared in Straylight Magazine.
Marc Taurisano began writing fiction as an undergraduate at Duke University, where he was a student of Elizabeth Cox and Reynolds Price. His short stories have appeared in Fugue, Troubadour 21, Umbrella Factory, The Smoking Poet, and Wilderness House Literary Review. He lives in New York City.
